Tom Colcord Art
Tom Colcord is a San Francisco based artist creating paintings that blur the boundaries between the interior and exterior world. His paintings are meditations on the subjectivity and limits of perception, portraying liminal spaces that simultaneously disclose and conceal worlds that are both familiar and bizarre.
Working across multiple approaches—from large-scale surrealism to plein air painting—Colcord explores psychological landscapes that challenge our understanding of reality and place.
He was an artist in residence at the Headlands Center for the Arts and continues to exhibit throughout the Bay Area. .”
